Accessing the App

The SortSwift Mobile App is available at scanner.sortswift.com. You can access it by:

Opening your mobile browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, etc.)
Navigating to scanner.sortswift.com
Optionally adding the page to your home screen for quick access (browser menu → "Add to Home Screen")

Tip: Adding the app to your home screen gives you an app-like experience with a full-screen interface and quick launch. The app uses IndexedDB for local storage, so your data persists even when offline.

Requirements

To use the SortSwift Mobile App effectively:

Device: Smartphone or tablet with a rear-facing camera (for best scanning results)
Browser: Modern browser with camera access support (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge)
Internet: Required for card recognition, pricing, and syncing; limited offline support via IndexedDB

Camera Access: The app needs camera permissions for scanning. If scanning fails, ensure you have granted camera access in your browser or device settings.

Signing In

To use all features (cloud sync, push to inventory, buylist orders, etc.), sign in with your SortSwift account:

Tap the Settings (gear) icon in the app
Select "Sign In" or "Account"
Enter your SortSwift email and password
Complete authentication (including staff auth if applicable)

You can use the app without signing in for basic scanning and collections, but cloud sync, inventory push, and buylist features require authentication.
