Collections let you organize scanned cards into multiple lists. Create lists for different sets, trades, purchases, or personal collections. Lists can be synced to the cloud and marked as tradeable for in-person trading with other users.

Multiple Collection Lists

You can create and manage multiple lists:

Create: Add a new list with a custom name
Rename: Edit the list name at any time
Delete: Remove a list and its items (confirm before deleting)

Load Lists from Server

When signed in, you can load collections stored in the cloud:

Ensure you are signed in (Settings → Sign In)
Open the Collections tab
Use "Load from Server" or similar option to fetch your cloud-synced lists
Select which lists to load—they will merge with or replace local data based on sync settings

Sync Conflicts: If you edit the same list on multiple devices, the most recent sync typically wins. Ensure a stable internet connection when syncing to avoid data loss.

List Statistics

Each list displays:

Item count: Total number of cards (including quantities)
Total value: Sum of all card values based on your configured price source

Statistics update as you add, remove, or edit items.

Sync Collections to Cloud

To save your collections to the cloud:

Sign in to your SortSwift account
Open the list you want to sync
Use the Sync or "Push to Cloud" option
Your lists are stored on SortSwift servers and can be loaded on other devices

Local data in IndexedDB is also preserved, so you can continue working offline and sync when connected.

Tradeable Lists

You can toggle collection lists as "tradeable" to make them available for Trading. Only tradeable lists appear when starting or joining a trade session.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where are my collections stored?

Collections are stored locally in IndexedDB on your device. When you sign in and sync, they are also stored on SortSwift's servers for backup and cross-device access.

Can I export a collection to CSV?

Yes. Collections feed into the Queue. From the Queue, you can export to CSV or push to staging inventory. Add items from the Scanner to the queue, then use queue export.

What happens if I delete a list?

Deleting a list removes it and all its items. This action is typically irreversible. If the list was synced to the cloud, it may also be removed from the server on next sync.
