Settings control how the Scanner, Queue, and other features behave. Configure default values for new scans, choose price sources, set up sound feedback, select export templates, and manage your account.
Set default values applied to new scans:
Choose which price type to use when displaying and exporting prices:
The selected source is used across the Scanner, Queue, and Collections for value calculations.
When the primary price source has no data for a card, the app falls back to the next source in your chain. Configure the order in Settings:
Choose the currency for displayed and exported prices (e.g., USD, EUR, GBP). Prices from sources in other currencies may be converted based on your SortSwift account settings.
Control scan feedback sounds:
Set custom sounds for specific price thresholds. For example:
Add, edit, or remove triggers in Settings → Sound settings.
When exporting the Queue to CSV, you can choose an export template. Templates define which columns appear and in what order. Select your preferred template in Settings so it is used by default for exports.
Manage your SortSwift account in the app:
If your store uses staff accounts, you may need to complete staff authentication after signing in. This ensures the app is being used by an authorized user with the correct permissions for inventory, buylist, and other store features.
When signed in, some settings may sync with your SortSwift account. Check the app for which settings are synced. Local-only settings are stored in IndexedDB on each device.
Ensure sounds are enabled in Settings and that your device volume is up. Some browsers require user interaction before playing audio—tap the screen first if needed. Also check that your device is not in silent mode.
Export templates may be provided by your SortSwift account or created in the main SortSwift dashboard. Link your mobile app to your account and sync to access account templates.
