Task Types

WMS supports standard warehouse task types:

• Receiving: Receive incoming inventory; verify quantities and condition.
• Putaway: Move items from receiving or staging to their assigned storage locations.
• Picking: Collect items from storage for orders or transfers.
• Packing: Pack picked items for shipment or handoff.

Creating Tasks

Create tasks manually or have them generated from orders, imports, or workflows. Each task includes items to handle, source/destination locations, and priority.

Assigning Tasks to Staff

Assign tasks to staff members. Staff can view their assigned tasks and work through them. Assignments help balance workload and track who completed what.

Start & Complete Tasks

Staff start a task when they begin work and complete it when done. Start/complete timestamps are recorded for productivity and accuracy tracking.

Task Queue Management

View and manage the task queue. Filter by status, assignee, type, or priority. Reassign, cancel, or adjust tasks as needed.
