PaperStream Setup
Configure Fujitsu PaperStream-compatible scanners for SortSwift's batch scanning pipeline.
Requirements
- Windows workstation with PaperStream Capture or PaperStream ClickScan installed.
- Supported Fujitsu scanner (fi-7160, fi-8180, and similar models).
- SortSwift Desktop Uploader (provided in your onboarding package).
Install PaperStream Drivers
- Download the latest PaperStream driver package from Fujitsu.
- Install both the driver and PaperStream Capture utility.
- Connect the scanner and run the calibration wizard to ensure smooth feed.
Create a SortSwift Scan Profile
- Open PaperStream Capture and create a new profile.
- Set paper size to Custom (63mm × 88mm) to match card dimensions.
- Enable Duplex if you want front/back scans, otherwise choose Simplex.
- Set resolution to 300 DPI and color mode to Color.
- Choose output folder monitored by the SortSwift Desktop Uploader.

- Launch the SortSwift Desktop Uploader and sign in.
- Select the PaperStream profile folder as the watch directory.
- Choose the SortSwift scanning queue (Live Camera, File Upload, or Simple Sifter).
- Run a test scan to confirm files appear in SortSwift within a few seconds.
