  4. System automatically detects when card is in frame

Card Detection

How card detection works:

  • Automatic Detection: System detects when card enters frame
  • Frame Analysis: Analyzes each camera frame for card presence
  • Recognition Trigger: Automatically captures and recognizes detected cards
  • Continuous Mode: Can scan multiple cards in sequence
  • Manual Trigger: Can also manually trigger scan with spacebar or button

Scanning Workflow

Typical scanning workflow:

  1. Start scanning session
  2. Position first card in front of camera
  3. Wait for automatic detection and recognition
  4. Review scanned card in the cards panel
  5. Adjust condition, language, printing if needed
  6. Continue with next card
  7. Repeat until all cards are scanned
  8. Export or add scanned cards to inventory

After scanning, view results:

  • Card Name: Recognized card name
  • Set Information: Set name and number
  • Rarity: Card rarity

Handling Failed Recognition

  • Try scanning again
  • Manually search for card if needed
  • Check that card is in supported database
