1. Select "Store Credit" as refund method (or use in split refund)
2. Enter refund amount (cannot exceed return total)
3. System adds refund amount to customer's store credit balance locally
4. Store credit history is updated with return transaction
5. If Shopify integration is active, balance is synced to Shopify Store Credit Account
6. Customer receives refund as store credit balance increase

Shopify Sync: Store credit refunds use GraphQL mutation (storeCreditAccountCredit) to add credit to Shopify Store Credit Account. If account doesn't exist, it's created automatically. Balance sync happens in real-time.
