Multi-till tracks cash and payment methods per staff member and terminal. Open a till at the start of your shift, process transactions, then close the till and reconcile at end of day.
Each staff member can have a till assigned to them. When you open a till, you set an opening float (starting cash). All sales and payments processed during your shift are tracked against that till. At end of day, you close the till by counting cash and entering the actual amount—the system compares it to expected and reports variance.
Open till (start of day): Set your opening float. The system records this as the starting cash. Close till (end of day): Count the cash in the drawer and enter the actual amount. The system generates a report with sales breakdown, payment methods, and variance (expected vs actual).
Current till is tracked per staff member. You can claim a till or have it reassigned. Admins can force-close a till if needed. Named terminals support identifying which physical register is in use.
Till close generates sales breakdown by payment method, variance tracking, and a summary of the shift. Use these for daily reconciliation. The POS Reporting page also offers daily/weekly reports, payment method breakdowns, top selling items, and PDF export.
