What is Transfer?

Transfer allows you to move stock items between physical locations:

• Location Updates: Change the remark (location) field for stock items
• Bulk Operations: Transfer multiple items at once
• Transfer History: Track all transfers with timestamps
• Search & Filter: Find items by product name or current location
• Use Cases: Moving items between bins, reorganizing warehouse, relocating stock

Getting Started

Transfer stock to a new location:

1. Navigate to /inventory/transfer
2. Search for items or filter by current remark (location)
3. Select items to transfer using checkboxes
4. Enter new remark (location) in "New Remark" field
5. Click "Create Transfer" button
6. Transfer is completed and logged in history

Searching Items

Find items to transfer:

• Search Field: Search by product name to find specific items
• Filter Remark: Filter by current location (remark) to see all items in a specific bin
• Real-Time Filtering: Table updates as you type
• Case-Insensitive: Search works regardless of capitalization
• Partial Matches: Matches product names containing search term

Selecting Items

Choose which items to transfer:

• Individual Selection: Check boxes next to each stock item
• Multiple Selection: Select as many items as needed
• Selection Counter: Button shows count of selected items
• Clear Selection: Uncheck boxes to deselect
• Visual Feedback: Selected rows highlighted

Creating Transfer

Complete the transfer process:

1. Select one or more stock items
2. Enter new remark (location) in "New Remark" field
3. Verify the remark is correct
4. Click "Create Transfer" button
5. API updates all selected stock items with new remark
6. Transfer entry added to history
7. Success notification displayed
8. Table refreshes to show updated locations

Transfer History

Track all transfers:

• History Table: Shows all transfers below main table
• Date/Time: When transfer was created
• Remark: New location (remark) assigned
• Count: Number of items transferred
• LocalStorage: History stored in browser localStorage
• Chronological: Most recent transfers appear first
• Session Persistence: History persists across page refreshes

Remark Naming Best Practices

Use consistent naming for locations:

• Consistent Format: Use same format for all locations (e.g., "A1", "A2", "B1")
• Descriptive: Use names that match physical layout ("Shelf-1", "Back-Room-Bin-3")
• Case Sensitive: Remarks are case-sensitive, so use consistent capitalization
• No Spaces: Avoid spaces or use consistent separators (hyphens, underscores)
• Hierarchical: Consider hierarchical naming (e.g., "A-A1", "A-A2", "B-B1")

Bulk Transfers

Transfer multiple items efficiently:

• Filter by Location: Use "Filter Remark" to see all items in a location
• Select All: Check all items from filtered results
• Single Transfer: Transfer all selected items to new location at once
• Efficiency: Move entire bins or sections quickly
• Count Tracking: History shows how many items were transferred
