TCGPlayer Import

Import your TCGPlayer orders into SortSwift inventory for tracking and management.

What is TCGPlayer Import?


TCGPlayer Import lets you bring order data into SortSwift:

  • Order Import: Import TCGPlayer orders as inventory
  • Auto-Deduction: Automatically deduct sold items from inventory
  • Sales Tracking: Track TCGPlayer sales in SortSwift
  • Cost Tracking: Record cost basis for inventory
  • Profit Analysis: Calculate profit on TCGPlayer sales

Requirements


What you need to import TCGPlayer orders:

  • TCGPlayer Seller Account: Active TCGPlayer seller account
  • Order Data: Order export file from TCGPlayer
  • SortSwift Account: Active SortSwift subscription
  • Inventory Setup: Existing inventory to match against (optional)

Getting Your Order File


Export orders from TCGPlayer:

  1. Log in to TCGPlayer Seller Portal
  2. Navigate to Orders section
  3. Select date range for orders
  4. Click "Export" or "Download"
  5. Choose CSV format
  6. Save file to your computer

Import Process Overview


Steps to import TCGPlayer orders:

  1. Navigate to TCGPlayer Import section
  2. Click "Import Orders"
  3. Upload your TCGPlayer order CSV file
  4. System parses and validates the file
  5. Review items to be imported
  6. Configure import settings
  7. Confirm import
  8. Orders are added to inventory or deducted from stock

Import Modes


Different ways to handle imported orders:

  • Deduct from Inventory: Reduce quantities based on sales
  • Sales Log Only: Record sales without affecting inventory
  • Add to Inventory: Add items from purchase orders
  • Track Only: Import for tracking without inventory changes

Item Matching


How items are matched to your inventory:

  • SKU Matching: Matches by SKU if available
  • Card Name: Matches by card name and set
  • Condition Match: Matches exact condition
  • Manual Review: Review unmatched items
