Getting Started
Access staging inventory, understand the review workflow, and navigate staging items.
To access staging inventory:
- Navigate to
/inventory/stagingin your SortSwift account - Page displays staging inventories grouped by import batch
- Each staging inventory represents one product with stock items
- Use filters to find specific staging items
- Review and approve items before they go live
What is Staging Inventory?
Staging inventory is a review layer between CSV imports and live inventory:
- Items imported with staging enabled go to staging collection
- Review items before they affect live inventory
- Edit prices, quantities, and other fields
- Approve or reject items individually or in bulk
- Push approved items to live inventory when ready
Interface Overview
The staging inventory interface includes:
- Filter Bar: Filter by review status, import batch, pushed status
- Search Bar: Search by product name, card name, or SKU ID
- Stats Cards: Overview of pending, approved, rejected items
- Staging Cards: Each card represents a staging inventory
- Bulk Actions: Select multiple items for bulk operations
- Pagination: Navigate through pages of staging items
Review Statuses
Staging inventories have review statuses:
- Pending Review: Items not yet reviewed (default status)
- Approved: All stock items in the staging inventory are approved
- Rejected: All stock items in the staging inventory are rejected
- Mixed: Some items approved, some rejected (partial approval)
