What is Picklist?

Picklist is a powerful tool for generating organized lists of items to pick from your inventory for orders:

  • Order Organization: Group items by order number, set, location, or other criteria
  • Warehouse Efficiency: Optimize picking routes with intelligent sorting
  • Location Grouping: Group items by bin location (remarks) for easier picking
  • Export Formats: Export to PDF for printing or CSV for digital use
  • Progress Tracking: Mark items as picked and track completion
  • Filtering: Filter by date range, order numbers, causes, and more

Accessing Picklist

How to access the Picklist page:

  1. Navigate to /inventory/picklist
  2. Or use the Inventory navigation menu and select "Picklist"
  3. The page loads all deduction logs that haven't been picked yet
  4. Items are displayed in a sortable, filterable table

Interface Overview

The Picklist interface consists of several key areas:

  • Filter Panel: Date range pickers, cause filters, search fields
  • Main Table: Displays all unpicked deduction logs with customizable columns
  • Selection Controls: Checkboxes to select items for picklist generation
  • Sort Options: Dropdown to choose sorting method (Order/Set/A-Z, Remark/Set/A-Z, etc.)
  • Action Buttons: Export PDF, Export CSV, Print, Mark as Picked
  • Column Customization: Drag-and-drop column reordering, show/hide columns
  • Picklist Preview: Popup showing organized picklist before export

Data Source

Picklist uses deduction logs as its data source:

  • Deduction Logs: All inventory deductions that haven't been marked as "picked"
  • Order Sources: Shopify orders, eBay orders, POS orders, Kiosk orders, TCGPlayer orders, CardTrader orders, ManaPool orders
  • Manual Deductions: Manual adjustments and imports that create deduction logs
  • Auto-Filtering: Only shows items with pickedAt: null
  • Real-Time Updates: Updates automatically as new orders create deduction logs

Basic Workflow

Typical workflow for generating a picklist:

  1. Apply filters (date range, order numbers, causes) to narrow down items
  2. Select items using checkboxes (or select all)
  3. Choose a sort option appropriate for your warehouse layout
  4. Preview the picklist in the preview dialog
  5. Export to PDF for printing or CSV for digital use
  6. Mark items as picked after they've been physically picked
