Export Formats

Two export formats available:

• PDF Export: Formatted document perfect for printing
• CSV Export: Spreadsheet format for digital processing
• Both Formats: Preserve selected sort order and column configuration
• Column Customization: Export includes only visible columns

PDF Export

Creating PDF picklists:

1. Select items for picklist
2. Choose sort option
3. Click "Export PDF" button
4. PDF generates automatically using jsPDF library
5. File downloads with organized table format
6. Can be printed or shared digitally

PDF features:

• Formatted Table: Clean table layout with headers
• Multi-Page: Automatically paginates for long lists
• Column Headers: Shows column names on each page
• Sort Preservation: Maintains selected sort order
• Column Selection: Only visible columns included

CSV Export

Creating CSV picklists:

1. Select items for picklist
2. Choose sort option
3. Click "Export CSV" button
4. CSV file generates using PapaParse
5. File downloads with .csv extension
6. Can be opened in Excel, Google Sheets, or other spreadsheet software

CSV features:

• Column Headers: First row contains column names
• Sort Preservation: Maintains selected sort order
• Column Selection: Only visible columns included
• Universal Format: Works with any spreadsheet software
• Digital Processing: Can be imported into other systems

Printing Picklists

Print picklists for physical use:

1. Export picklist to PDF
2. Open PDF file
3. Use browser print dialog or PDF viewer print
4. Adjust print settings (margins, orientation, scale)
5. Print and use as physical picking guide

Marking Items as Picked

Track picking progress:

1. Select items that have been physically picked
2. Click "Mark as Picked" button
3. Items are marked with pickedAt timestamp
4. Marked items disappear from default view (unless "Show Picked" enabled)
5. Helps track which orders have been fulfilled
6. Can filter to show/hide picked items

Column Customization for Export

Customize which columns appear in exports:

• Column Drawer: Open column customization drawer
• Show/Hide: Toggle columns visible in table
• Drag to Reorder: Arrange columns in desired order
• Export Respects: Only visible columns included in PDF/CSV
• Column Order: Export preserves column order from table
• Saved Preferences: Column settings saved to localStorage
