Log Types
Understand import logs, deduction logs, adjustment logs, and what each log type represents.
Import Logs
Import logs record when items were added via CSV import:
- Source: CSV file import operations
- Action: Adds quantity to inventory
- Details: Includes filename, row number, quantity imported
- Reversible: Can be undone to reverse imports
- Fields: Product, SKU ID, quantity, price, condition, language, printing
Deduction Logs
Deduction logs record when inventory was reduced:
- Source: Sales, damage, loss, manual deductions
- Action: Reduces quantity from inventory
- Details: Includes reason, quantity deducted, order reference
- Reversible: Can be undone in some cases
- Fields: Product, SKU ID, quantity deducted, reason, order ID
Adjustment Logs
Adjustment logs record manual quantity changes:
- Source: Manual stock adjustments from inventory management
- Action: Sets quantity to specific value
- Details: Includes old quantity, new quantity, reason
- Reversible: Can be undone to restore previous quantity
- Fields: Product, SKU ID, old quantity, new quantity, reason
Identifying Log Types
Log types are distinguished by:
- Icon: Different icons for each log type
- Type Column: Explicitly labeled in the table
- Color Coding: Visual indicators for each type
- Details: Different fields shown based on log type
- Filter Tabs: Switch between log types using tabs
