Export Overview

Adjustment History export functionality:

• CSV Format: Export logs in CSV format for spreadsheet analysis
• Filtered Exports: Only exported logs matching current active filters
• Complete Data: All log fields included in export
• Timestamp Preservation: Dates and times maintained in export
• Large Datasets: Exports handle large numbers of log entries

CSV Export

Export logs to CSV format:

1. Apply filters to narrow down the logs you want to export
2. Click the "Export CSV" button (typically in toolbar or action menu)
3. CSV file downloads automatically with filename containing timestamp
4. Open in Excel, Google Sheets, or any spreadsheet application
5. All columns from the log table are included

Exported Fields

The CSV export includes all log information:

• Timestamp: Date and time of the log entry
• Log Type: Import, Deduction, or Adjustment
• Product Name: Name of the inventory item
• SKU ID: Product SKU identifier
• Quantity Change: Amount added or deducted
• Cause: Reason for the change (import, order, manual adjustment, etc.)
• Comment: Additional comments from the log
• Remark: Remarks/notes (often location information)
• Game: Game or category name
• Set/Expansion: Set name or expansion
• Rarity: Card rarity (if applicable)
• Card Number: Card number (if applicable)

Filtered Exports

Exports respect your active filters:

• Date Range: Only logs within selected date/time range are exported
• Log Types: Only checked log types (Import, Deduction, Adjustment) are included
• Game Filter: Only logs for selected game are exported
• Search Terms: Only logs matching card name, comment, or remark searches
• Cause Filter: Only logs with selected causes are exported
• Use Filters First: Apply desired filters before exporting to get specific data

Analyzing Exports

Use exported CSV data for analysis:

• Spreadsheet Analysis: Use Excel/Sheets formulas to calculate totals, averages, trends
• Pivot Tables: Create pivot tables to group by date, product, cause, game, etc.
• Charts & Graphs: Visualize trends over time, quantity changes, log type distribution
• Audit Reports: Generate custom reports for accounting or compliance
• Data Sharing: Share exported data with accountants, managers, or team members
• Backup Records: Keep CSV exports as backup records of inventory changes

Export Limitations

Important considerations for exports:

• Browser Limits: Very large exports may take time to download depending on browser
• Memory Usage: Exporting very large datasets may use significant browser memory
• Timeout Risks: Extremely large exports might timeout on slower connections
• Recommendation: Use date range filters to export in smaller chunks if needed
• Pagination: Export respects pagination - exports all filtered logs, not just visible page
