What is Bulk Lot Builder?

Bulk Lot Builder allows you to create parametric templates for bulk lots:

• Template System: Create lot templates defining criteria (game, set, condition, price range) for common bulk lot types
• Filter-Based Selection: Define criteria—game, set, rarity, condition, price range—to automatically select cards
• Availability Monitoring: Track which cards are available for each template
• Automatic Generation: Generate bulk lots from templates when orders arrive
• Custom Pricing: Set custom prices for generated lots
• Queue Management: Manage pending bulk lot requests

Getting Started

Create your first bulk lot template:

1. Navigate to /inventory/bulk-lot-builder
2. Click "New Template" button
3. Fill in template wizard (name, filters, criteria)
4. Save template as "Draft" or "Active"
5. Preview available cards matching criteria
6. Generate bulk lot when ready

Template Wizard

Create templates using the wizard:

• Template Name: Descriptive name for your bulk lot type
• Category Filter: Select game/category (MTG, Pokemon, etc.)
• Set Filter: Choose specific sets or groups
• Rarity Filter: Filter by rarity levels
• Condition Filter: Specify condition requirements
• Printing Filter: Select printing types (Normal, Foil, etc.)
• Quantity Limits: Set minimum/maximum quantities per card
• Price Range: Filter by min/max price to include only cards within a value tier (e.g., commons under $1, or rares $5–$50)
• Other Filters: Additional criteria (color, type, etc.)

Template Status

Two template statuses:

• Draft: Work-in-progress templates, not ready for use
• Active: Ready-to-use templates available for generation
• Status Toggle: Change status anytime
• Filter by Status: View only active, drafts, or all templates
• Status Counts: Overview shows counts of each status

Preview & Generate

Preview available cards and generate bulk lots:

1. Select a template from the list
2. Click "Preview" or navigate to Preview tab
3. Review cards that match template criteria
4. Check availability and breakdown statistics
5. Optionally set custom price for the lot
6. Click "Generate Bundle" to create bulk lot
7. Generated lot appears in Queue tab

Preview Features

Preview tab shows:

• Summary Statistics: Total cards, sets, quantity breakdown
• Card Breakdown: Detailed list of cards that match criteria
• Availability Warnings: Alerts for low availability or missing cards
• Custom Price: Option to override default pricing
• Real-Time Updates: Preview updates as inventory changes
• Template Selection: Select from list or use currently previewed template

Queue Management

Manage generated bulk lots:

• Queue Tab: View all generated bulk lot instances
• Generation Date: When bulk lot was created
• Template Source: Which template was used
• Card Count: Number of cards in bulk lot
• Price: Custom or default price
• Status Tracking: Monitor lot status and availability
• Picklist Integration: Generate picklists for bulk lots

Inventory Tracking

Monitor inventory availability:

• Inventory Tab: View current inventory matching template criteria
• Real-Time Updates: Inventory changes reflect immediately
• Availability Alerts: Warnings when cards become unavailable
• Stock Levels: See quantity available for each matching card
• Filter Matching: Only cards matching template filters shown

Best Practices

• Start as Draft: Create templates as drafts, test filters, then activate
• Specific Filters: Use precise filters to avoid selecting wrong cards
• Regular Monitoring: Check inventory tab regularly for availability
• Custom Pricing: Set appropriate prices when generating lots
• Template Organization: Use descriptive names for easy identification
• Preview Before Generate: Always preview before generating to verify selection
