Password Reset

Reset your forgotten SortSwift password securely using the email link process. The reset link is sent to the email address associated with your account.

When to Use Password Reset


Use the password reset flow when you:

  • Have forgotten your password
  • Want to change your password but cannot remember the current one
  • Suspect your account may have been compromised
  • Are returning after a long absence and no longer remember your credentials

Step-by-Step Password Reset


  1. Go to the sign-in page: Navigate to /auth/sign-in
  2. Click "Forgot Password?": The link is usually below the sign-in form
  3. Enter your email: Use the email address you used when creating your account
  4. Submit the request: Click the button to send the reset email
  5. Check your email: Look for a message from SortSwift with the password reset link. Check spam or junk folders if you don't see it
  6. Open the link: Click the link in the email. It will open a page where you can enter a new password
  7. Create a new password: Enter and confirm your new password following the on-screen requirements
  8. Sign in: After successfully resetting, sign in with your email and new password

Not Receiving the Reset Email?


  • Check spam/junk folder: Many providers filter automated emails there
  • Verify email address: Ensure you're using the exact email associated with your SortSwift account
  • Wait a few minutes: Emails can be delayed. Allow 5–10 minutes before requesting again
  • Request again: If needed, submit a new reset request. Avoid requesting repeatedly in quick succession
  • Contact support: If you still don't receive the email, contact SortSwift support with your account email

Auth0 Users


If your organization uses Auth0 for identity management, password reset may be handled through Auth0 rather than the standard SortSwift flow. Use the Auth0 reset option on the login screen or contact your administrator for assistance.
