Verification Email

After successful sign-up:

• Email Sent: Verification email automatically sent to your registered email address
• Check Inbox: Look for email from SortSwift
• Check Spam: Verification emails sometimes end up in spam/junk folder
• Email Content: Email contains verification link with unique code
• Link Expiration: Verification links may expire after a certain time period

Using Verification Link

Steps to verify your account:

1. Open the verification email in your email client
2. Click the verification link in the email
3. Link redirects to /auth/verify-account (with verification code)
4. Verification page loads automatically
5. System verifies the code
6. If valid, success message appears: "Your account has been successfully verified"
7. You can now sign in to your account

Manual Verification

If verification doesn't happen automatically:

1. Navigate to /auth/verify-account
2. Extract the code from the verification email link (code parameter)
3. If you have the code, enter it manually
4. Click "Verify Account" button
5. System verifies code and shows success or error message

Verification Page States

Different states you may see:

• Verifying: Shows "Verifying your account, please wait..." with spinner
• Success: Shows "Your account has been successfully verified" message
• Error: Shows error message if verification failed (expired code, invalid code, etc.)
• Pending: Shows verification form if no code provided or manual entry needed

Resending Verification Email

SortSwift provides a resend option if you didn't receive the verification email:

1. Check spam/junk folder first
2. Look for a "Resend verification email" link on the verification or sign-in screen
3. Wait a few minutes between resend requests (email delivery can be delayed)
4. Ensure the email address used for sign-up was correct
5. Contact support if the email still doesn't arrive after using the resend option

Special handling for mobile devices:
