Fuzzy Match
Match card names from CSVs to SortSwift database. Intelligently match incomplete, abbreviated, or misspelled names.

What is Fuzzy Match?
Uses algorithms to match card names from external CSVs to correct cards in SortSwift's database, even with typos, abbreviations, alternate names, or foreign languages.
Why Use It?
- Customer buylist submissions with typos/abbreviations
- Imports from other software with different naming
- CSVs missing set codes or card numbers
- Mixed language standardization
How It Works
- Upload CSV with card names
- Map columns (auto-detected or manual)
- Select game to search within
- Click "Process" to begin matching
- Review confidence scores
- Select correct matches for low-confidence items
- Export with complete card data
Match Confidence
- High (90-100%): Exact match, auto-selected
- Medium (70-89%): Likely correct, review recommended
- Low (<70%): Multiple options, manual selection required
Example
Buylist has "Jace TMS", "FoW", "Bolt" → Fuzzy Match identifies as "Jace, the Mind Sculptor", "Force of Will", "Lightning Bolt" with full set info and pricing.
