Shopify Configuration
Configure vendor, product type, tags, and other Shopify-specific settings.
Vendor Setting
Set the vendor name for all products:
- Vendor Field: Text field to enter vendor name
- Applied to All: Same vendor applied to all products in catalog
- Shopify Filter: Customers can filter products by vendor in Shopify
- Common Values: Your store name, manufacturer name, or "TCG Cards"
- Can Update: Vendor can be changed in Shopify after import
Product Type
Set product type/category:
- Type Field: Text field for product type
- Organization: Used to organize products in Shopify admin
- Common Values: "Trading Cards", "Magic Cards", "Pokemon Cards", etc.
- Game-Specific: Can match selected game (e.g., "Magic: The Gathering")
- Collection Filtering: Helps create collections based on type
Tags
Add tags for product organization:
- Tag Field: Text field for comma-separated tags
- Multiple Tags: Enter multiple tags separated by commas
- Examples: "singles", "mtg", "pokemon", "foil", "rare"
- Collection Creation: Tags enable automatic collection creation
- Search Enhancement: Improves product searchability
- Common Tags: Game name, rarity, card type, set name
Published Status
Control product visibility:
- Published: Products visible on storefront immediately
- Unpublished: Products hidden, visible only in admin
- Default: Usually set to "Published" for new catalogs
- Review First: Can import as unpublished, review, then publish
- Bulk Publish: Can publish/unpublish in bulk in Shopify
SEO Settings
Auto-generated SEO fields:
- Handle: Auto-generated SEO-friendly URL slug
- SEO Title: Auto-generated from product name and set
- SEO Description: Rich description with card details
- Format: Optimized for search engines
- Customizable: Can edit SEO fields in Shopify after import
