Setting Your Currency

Configure currency in profile settings:

1. Navigate to /profile
2. Find "Store Currency" dropdown field
3. Select your preferred currency from list
4. Available currencies include: USD, CAD, EUR, GBP, AUD, and more
5. Save profile changes
6. Currency preference synced automatically

Where Currency Appears

Currency setting affects:

• Navigation Header: Currency symbol displayed in top navigation
• Inventory Prices: Price displays in inventory management
• POS System: Prices and totals in point of sale
• Buylist Pricing: Buy prices shown in buylist interface
• CSV Exports: Price columns in exported CSV files
• Reports: Financial data in reports and analytics
• Platform Sync: Prices when syncing to Shopify, eBay, etc.

Currency Symbols

Common currency symbols:

• USD: $ (United States Dollar)
• CAD: $ (Canadian Dollar)
• EUR: € (Euro)
• GBP: £ (British Pound)
• AUD: $ (Australian Dollar)
• JPY: ¥ (Japanese Yen)

Changing Currency

Steps to change currency:

1. Go to Profile page
2. Select new currency from dropdown
3. Click "Save" or "Update Profile"
4. Currency updates in header immediately
5. Price displays update throughout platform
6. Existing price values remain the same (not converted)

Important Considerations

Things to know about currency:

• Exchange rates: Exchange rates are auto-applied for pricing when needed
• Per-platform currency: Each connected platform (Shopify, eBay, etc.) can use a different currency than your store currency
• No conversion of existing prices: Changing currency doesn't convert existing price values
• Display format: Currency affects how prices are displayed across the platform
• Integration sync: Currency is used when syncing prices to connected platforms
