Getting Started

Manage POS staff with PIN-based login, role assignment, and full activity tracking.

Accessing Staff Management


To access Staff Accounts:

  1. Navigate to /integrations/staffaccounts
  2. Use the "Staff Accounts" tab to manage staff members
  3. Use the "Store Config" tab to configure POS settings
  4. Staff list loads automatically with name, email, role, and status

What Are Staff Accounts?


Staff accounts give employees controlled access to the POS:

  • PIN Login: 4–6 digit PIN for quick POS access (no email/password needed)
  • Name & Email: Staff identity for receipts and audit trails
  • Role Assignment: Staff vs Admin – admins have full POS access
  • Activity Tracking: Sales, inventory changes, and actions attributed to staff

PIN Login


Staff sign in at the POS terminal using a PIN:

  • 4–6 Digit PIN: Quick, secure access at POS
  • Standard PIN Login: Full POS access per role
  • Scoped PIN Login: Optional PIN restricted to specific features
  • No Email/Password: Streamlined for terminal use

Activity Tracking


All staff actions are logged:

  • Staff Activity Logs: Central log of staff actions
  • Audit Trail: Per-staff audit trail for accountability
  • Inventory Changes: Deductions, adjustments attributed to staff
  • Sales Attribution: Sales linked to the staff member who processed them

Basic Workflow


  1. Create staff accounts with name, email, and 4–6 digit PIN
  2. Assign role (staff or admin)
  3. Staff log in at POS with PIN
  4. Configure receipt settings and POS options in Store Config
